San Diego Opera, under the special sponsorship of The San Diego Union-Tribune, is offering 25-minute lectures before each performance of every opera at the San Diego Civic Theatre. Ticketed audience members will be directed to the Orchestra or Dress Circle of the Civic Theatre, where one hour prior to curtain, Dr. Nicolas Reveles, our Geisel Director of Education and Outreach, Dr. Ronald Shaheen, musicologist and opera preview lecturer, or one of our staff members will offer a talk designed to connect you to the evening's performance in an exhilarating and informative way. Come early and experience insights that only the experts can give!
