There are stagehands, electricians, carpenters, wig makers, costume makers, fitters, audio specialists and prop 'masters'. There are many different jobs involved in the opera business, including those people who work in the offices of the opera company who raise money, hire singers, design programs, market the productions and plan the productions, sometimes years ahead of the actual performances.
