American tenor Charles
Castronovo made his Company debut in 2008 as Nadir in
The Pearl Fishers. He began his career
at Los Angeles Opera as a Resident Artist and made his debut at the Metropolitan
Opera in 1999 as Beppe in Pagliacci.
Recent appearances include developing the role of Mario Ruoppolo in the
world premiere of Il Postino at Los Angeles Opera, Belmonte in
