Nabucco - Community Conversations on Faith and Freedom

A very special thank you to Erna and Andrew Viterbi for their extraordinary generosity in underwriting San Diego Opera’s inaugural lecture series, this year titled Community Conversations on Faith and Freedom. This series of thought-provoking lectures held in churches, synagogues and community centers around the county discussed Verdi’s Nabucco as it relates to community, art, faith and freedom. With over 30 presentations hosted, these special events touched more than 2,500 people and inspired enlightened conversation and a deeper understanding of the opera, history and ourselves. We hope, through this lecture series, you enjoy this amazing performance in a new light.
