One of the top eight American opera companies, San Diego Opera’s renowned opera productions and acclaimed educational programs are only possible thanks to the generous donations from thousands of individuals, foundations and corporations. Ticket sales only cover 40% of the costs of producing the highest quality opera. As a non-profit, San Diego Opera relies on the support of our donors to fund the remaining 60% of the costs of producing the world-class opera you enjoy on our stage.

All donors of $25 or more will be listed on the donor wall in the theatre for the 2012 Season and each giving program offers additional unique benefits, privileges and experiences:

This annual event is a special occasion honoring the Opera’s leading donors as they enjoy a lavish meal onstage amidst the sets of an International Season production and a private concert from one of our world renowned opera stars.
AS A BRAVISSIMO SILVER MEDALIST
Silver Medalists contributing $60,000 over four years have the unique opportunity to sponsor the appearance of two International Season artists over the time of their commitment. As a Silver Medalist, you get to meet your artist backstage, spend time getting to know one another, see your artist in closed rehearsals, and experience the process of bringing a world-class opera production to the stage through the eyes of a world famous opera singer.
