The Opera is delighted to offer this unique opportunity exclusively to Patrons who donate $1,000 or more annually.

Why it's Fun

Sitzprobe literally means “Seated rehearsal”. Guests will hear some of the world’s most magnificent opera singers as they rehearse the opera The Daughter of the Regiment for the first time with the full orchestra. Quite often, this is the first time they also sing out in their full, astonishing voices. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see and hear how the Conductor, Artists, Director and Orchestra build their final performance.

Cost

This is a complimentary event exclusively for San Diego Opera Members and Patrons at the Aficionado Level ($1,000) and above.

What to Wear

Comfortable business, or business casual, attire.
