If you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall at an opera rehearsal and watch how the performance is actually built, this is your opportunity! Guests will listen-in on the insider conversations between conductor, director and singers as they put the finishing touches on their vocal performances.

Begin the experience at a delicious hors d'oeuvres reception with Ian Campbell, General and Artistic Director, CEO of San Diego Opera. Ian will give you the insider scoop on what it takes to find these great new stars, when they’re returning to our stage and what he has planned for upcoming seasons. This is truly a “must see” event for opera fans!

This event is complimentary to, and exclusively for, San Diego Opera’s donors at the Cognoscente Patron Level ($3,000) and above

What To Wear

Business or “dressy casual” attire: Women - dressy pants ensembles or dresses. Men – suits or sport coats/slacks.
