STUDENT TICKET INITIATIVE

Students from around the county, many of whom have little to no experience with arts and culture, are desperate for an opportunity to attend San Diego Opera performances.

You can give them this new and valued experience by supporting the Student Ticket Initiative.  During the 2011 Season, this program directly provided over 1,300 tickets for local university and community college students. Our goal for the 2012 Season is to raise $200,000 in order to greatly increase the availability of student tickets and help meet the huge demand from students that has grown dramatically since the program began in 2002.

Please note: We must receive your pledge by January 1, 2012, to include you in the performance program listing. Final payments are due by May 31, 2012. All gifts will be designated to the 2012 International Season. Party invitations will be mailed to all participants who respond by March 1, 2012.
