TRADITIONAL GROUPS

Groups of 10 or more Save!

Our traditional group plan is perfect for groups and parties who know the approximate number of tickets they want in advance, will purchase the block of tickets through one coordinator and want the option of sitting all together.

Discounts and Billing

For groups of 10-20 your saving will be 15% off the regular single ticket price. For 21 or more, you earn a 20% discount. A 20% non-refundable deposit will be required when order is placed. An invoice will be sent as soon as deposit is received. In case of total cancellation, any deposit paid can be applied to another group priority date within the same season. Deposits can not carry over into the following year.

Groups may reduce their number until final payment is made, but cannot go below 10 to receive the group discount. After full payment is made, all sales are final, and no refunds will be offered.

Seating

Groups will be given priority seating before single tickets go on sale to the general public. After single tickets go on sale, seating is subject to availability. Your group will be seated together, depending on availability.

San Diego Opera accepts Visa, MC, American Express, Discover and checks (made payable to San Diego Opera).

Traditional groups will receive one complimentary ticket for every 25 tickets sold
The ability to switch performances with no exchange fee*
Discounted rates for Tuesday and Friday performances with preferred rates locked in for all other performances
Information about opera events pertaining to your chosen performance included on all invitations to help enthuse and excite your invitees. FREE San Diego Opera outreach and education programs featuring the relevant opera (Stars in the Salon, Community Conversations, Taste of Opera etc.)
Dedicated groups specialist to help with your invitation set up and event planning

ENHANCEMENTS:

Include a Backstage Tour of the Civic Theatre
Reserve a private meeting spot in one of the theatres private reception areas for intermission and San Diego Opera staff or Opera Crew will welcome your group
For groups of 25 or more, Dr. Nicolas Reveles, or another speaker, will visit your home, business, club or organization
