The Workshop
San Diego Opera's two week performance intensive will focus on identifying talented singers who are
interested in working toward a career in opera and/or musical theatre.

Program Overview:
- Students will participate in movement, vocal coaching, interpretation, musical
selection, and acting, as well as a series of master classes and professional
panels.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 16 & 22.
- Tuition is $850.00.
(Limited scholarships may be available to
students who demonstrate financial need.)
- Application deadline is April 6, 2009
Auditions will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009
from 10am - 5pm at San Diego Opera.
Workshop Dates:
- Monday - Friday July 13 - July 24, 2009,
from 9:30am - 5:00pm each day.
- There will be a public performance of student work on Friday evening, July 24,
2009 at 7:00pm. All sessions will take place at the Civic Center in the Copper Room and
the Silver Room.
